STUDY DESCRIPTION | ||
A sub-cohort of 15, 000 individuals of the LSS of atomic bomb survivors, the Adult Health Survey, has used biennial health surveys to follow up on all morbidities in addition to cancer. Biological samples have been collected including serum, plasma, urine, lymphocytes, paraffin embedded tissue blocks, prepared slides, and teeth. In 2013, the Biosample Research Center (RP3-15) was established at RERF with the aim of archiving and curating these biological samples. One of the aims of the project is to consider how to make the samples available to the wider community through collaborations. https://www.rerf.or.jp/en/about/organization-en/chart-e/bio_e/ . Samples may be made available through application to the Biosample Research Center | ||
