STUDY DESCRIPTION
Bulk RNA sequencing was performed on medulloblastoma samples collected from Ptch1⁺/⁻ mice following neonatal γ irradiation (0 Gy, 0.1 Gy, 2 Gy). Libraries were generated from total RNA extracted from freshly dissected tumors. Sequencing was carried out on an Illumina platform, producing paired end reads (150 bp). Samples included tumors arising spontaneously (0 Gy) or following low dose (0.1 Gy) or high dose (2 Gy) irradiation, with metadata specifying irradiation dose, latency, sex, and experimental batch. The dataset includes raw FASTQ files, and associated sample information, enabling downstream differential expression analyses and integrative comparisons across dose groups.

DATASET DESCRIPTION
This dataset contains raw RNA sequencing data generated from medulloblastoma (MB) samples collected from Ptch1⁺/⁻ mice exposed to different doses of neonatal γ irradiation as part of the DISCOVER project. Tumors were harvested at endpoint and processed for bulk transcriptomic profiling. The dataset includes paired-end FASTQ files (150 bp) for pool of 3 tumor samples, accompanied by a standardized sample sheet specifying file paths and metadata. Each entry contains: sample identifier; R1 and R2 FASTQ file locations; library strandedness. A total of 12 tumor pool samples are included, spanning three radiation exposure groups: 0 Gy (0FA: 3 female spontaneous tumors; 0FB: 3 female spontaneous tumors; 0MA: 3 male spontaneous tumors); 0.1 Gy (1FA: 3 female low dose induced tumors; 1FB: 3 female low dose induced tumors; 1MA: 3 male low dose induced tumors; 1MB: 3 male low dose induced tumors ); 2 Gy (2FA: 3 female high dose induced tumors; 2FB: 3 female high dose induced tumors; 2MA: 3 male high dose induced tumors; 2MB: 3 male high dose induced tumors). All samples were sequenced on Illumina platforms.
